COMTEQ Wizards beat Local Colleges in 2nd AAPCO League

The COMTEQ Wizards Basketball team won the 2010 AAPCO Championship game by beating Virgen Delos Remedios College last October 2, 2010 at the Rizal Triangle.

Six local colleges participated in this year’s league, organized by the Athletic Association of Private Colleges in Olongapo (AAPCO): Virgen Delos Remedios, AURA, Columban, AMA Computer Learning Center, St. Benilde, and COMTEQ College.

This is the second year that COMTEQ won the championship.   Macoy Estrellado, one of the COMTEQ Wizards is this year’s Most Valuable Player.  When asked about the secret of their winning streak, Coach Adan Dumpit simply said “Hard work! Hard work!”.

The Cheer dancers and Volleyball Team of COMTEQ College also bask in their own limelight as they too won as Champion and 1st Runner-up respectively in their own events.
