About Us

1990 - The school was founded first as an institution teaching purely computer literacy courses to high school students. This eliminated the need for infrastructure such as buildings and classrooms. It also then accepted programming contracts from business establishments in Olongapo and Manila areas.

1997 - The school was incorporated as a "non-stock" Educational Institution and proceeded to offer 2-year computer courses from rented premises at National Highway, Kalaklan, Olongapo City with less than 100 students.

When the student population grew to more than 100, COMTEQ rented classroom space at the Victory Liner Building, in downtown Olongapo City, and retained the Kalaklan premises as COMTEQ workstation (a computer, programming, and electronics repair shop that serves as training ground for its students).

2000 - The student population grew to about 150+ and the courses offered became more varied, to include 4-year bachelor courses. Realizing the need for better facilities and more space, COMTEQ moved to its present location in the SBMA. COMTEQ workstation was also moved from Kalaklan to the same building in SBMA.

2001 - The student population had grown to more than 200 students, and COMTEQ proceeded to rent an adjacent building for more classroom space.

2002-Present - COMTEQ offered more courses especially in the business field such as Accounting ang Business Management. Student population grew to more than 400 students and COMTEQ rented more rooms.
